Gin Fedotov
Actor. filmmaker. Canada.
I am an actor, not only as a profession,
but also as a state of being.
If you are looking for an actor that can deliver authenticity, charisma, depth, and professionalism to your project, you have found him.
Making films as part of the crew keeps me learning from industry professionals and provides me with an opportunity to understand the process and business of making audio-visual art and entertainment.
I am the reliable, hard working, and problem solving crew member that you need on your project.
I was born in Ukraine in 1980, grew up in Mexico, lived in the USA (California) and currently work in Alberta, Canada as a union actor for film and TV.
Living in different countries allowed me to become fluent in Spanish, Russian, and English.
I have been involved in film-making in front and behind the camera for a decade. I had the opportunity to learn from professionals in the business and worked on set as a Production Assistant, COVID compliance specialist, junior Assistant Director and junior Producer.
I believe that practice is essential to staying current, adaptable and at the top of my abilities. I continuously participate in training to improve my acting craft and learn from the best in the industry.
For an actor, film-making is about the on-set experience, not the final product. This philosophy helps my work in front of and behind the camera.
I believe that a good actor also understands the process and business of film making. Working for years in film crew provided me with hands-on experience on what happens on a set daily, who does what, and how audio-visual entertainment goes from concept to distribution.

A picture can be a powerful way to convey a message, being a photo model allows me to contribute to your vision.
-
I can provide you with invaluable professional support on your set as a crew member or administrative assistant.
Embracing a character feels complete when I am able to dream as the character, with their conflicts, relationships and goals. This connection with the character seeps through every frame and interaction, with or without dialogue.

Continuous training and practice allows me to dive into how the character fits in your story, how to deliver relevant information, and how to relate to others. I use my experience to enrich the characters mannerisms, voice and behavior, which is a very powerful tool for personal growth.
I connect with the professionalism of being part of a production. I understand that time on set is precious and I take pride in making effective use of the time on your production.
Networking and collaboration is valuable for film-makers as it allows for the creation of more intricate projects. I have been involved in projects that provided me with the opportunity to expand my acting skills and explore roles I always wanted to play. Here are some of these projects:
